HIGH SUMMER 2019 LOOKBOOK
Hey guys , welcome back , I just received & preview of all the amazing summer pieces landing in Penneys/primark in the next few weeks & the pieces are unreal, I need all the jumpsuits & swimwear.
A barrage of bold colours and prints, utilitarian vibes and electric snakeskin prints – Primark’s high summer womenswear collection is full of fun, playful looks – no matter what the destination is. Comprised of three different trends, key pieces include crochet jumpsuits, tie dye satin dresses and metallic bikinis that will let you leave your mark and keep you looking holiday ready, all summer long!
Desert Traveller sets the tone for summer, landing in stores at the end of April. The colour palette consists of soft beiges, rich terracotta, chocolate browns and khaki greens giving a modern twist on the utilitarian look. Statement pieces include paisley print chiffon kaftans, fringed crochet dress, rope detail belts and laundered neutral stripes that create a relaxed, urban gypsy look for warm evenings.
A collision of flamboyant colours and tie-dye amplifies the Point Break trend. Bleached denim jeans, hyper-floral kaftans and psychedelic crochet pieces steal the limelight as the intoxicating 90’s print makes a comeback. Fabrics are cool and lightweight which is essential for the season ahead. Key colours in the collection are burnt orange, mustard and cobalt blue, combining to create a fun look with a twist. It launches in store at the end of May.
Y2K is full of 90’s satin, mesh detail, cargo pockets and electric snake print. The bold and graphic neon yellow, lime greens and reds are supported by muted tones of subtle oranges and browns. Fringed kimonos, all-over sequined swimsuits and neon shades exude youthful and expressive vibes for summer.
