Hey gals , I’ve had so many questions about our Glamping trip in Killarney so I’ve Put a little post together , hope you enjoy.
We went in April and stayed for 2 nights , costing €180 in total for a Saturday and Sunday night. You can book on this link here https://www.killarneyglamping.com/ with the Lovely Linda & Mike. The price differs with the season so be sure to check out current prices.
There are 5 tents in total in the camping area , each with their own kitchen area and BBQ which is really handy. The tents are very private & there’s a good distance between each so you don’t need to worry about noisy neighbours. There is also a communal shed which has games , books , a sink , freezer and cutlery and most importantly marshmallows for roasting on the fire . The tents themselves have an electric stove which gets super warm and a lovely comfy double bed , with a little trunk full of blankets and hot water bottles just incase the heater isn’t enough.
There are 2 showers and 2 Bathrooms , just bring a towel for the shower and all your usual cleansing bits , shower gel and face wash etc.
There’s a little fire pit & all the essentials for getting a fire going are provided by Linda & Mike , we brought our own jumbo marshmallows 🙈& some Processco to enjoy by the fire .
< e went sightseeing during our trip and the best way to see Killarney is on a bike . We rented two bikes for about €15 for the day which is great. << cycled out to Muckross castle & the national park , the views of the lakes were so beautiful , I'd really recommend it , the cycle is great fun. < e had an amazing breakfast in the Underground cafe, would highly recommend the pancakes or waffles ❤️🙏🏻. The Shire is a great little pub , it's lord of the ring themed ,with their own craft beer named after the characters in the movie. They serve amazing food to & have live music , such a great spot. Killarney is one of my favourite places in Ireland to visit , we’ve been twice this year and with a 5 hour drive that’s not an easy task .
If you’re thinking of going Glamping , Glamping at the grove is the place to do it , such a professionally run place & Linda & Mike are so so helpful and are just a text away whenever you need them. I really couldn’t recommend this place enough, it’s so peaceful & a really romantic breakaway. It’s such a unique experience & I can’t wait to go back already .If you want to see more check out my Glamping vlog link Here. Thank you for reading , let me know if any of you visit , Id love to see all your pictures.
Love Lorna Jane xoxo
